Started back in November 2002, Insanity Inc is the brainchild of James Storton, guitarist and self-confessed music junkie. Having been in and out of bands for the last ten years, playing everything from Simon & Garfunkel covers to raging heavy metal, James decided to start experimenting with sequencers and samplers. James's talent was spotted, at an early stage, by us and he was invited to join the VSS Group to develop his activities.
Early on James realised he had a talent for writing music, both his own and creating sounds to other peoples specifications. In some cases the specification was as loose as "I'd like to hear waves and wheel sounds - and a funky tune". Real creative direction! But James has delivered. He came into the VSS fold and has developed music for many of our clients, as well as writing all the theme and incidental music for the various company divisions products - for examples of his music visit the Video Production page and play the movie trailer. He wrote and developed the VSS corporate theme that plays on our home page. If it's a company theme for a web page, music to enhance a corporate video or you need background music for film or television - Insanity Inc can do it all!
James was influenced, musically, by Jazz, Blues, Rock, Dance Music, Ambient and Hip Hop. He started creating the tunes that would eventually make up his debut album release - “Cerebral Flow”. Which is available to hear at www.darkriverproject.co.uk
